Winter Celebrations

Modified on: December 17, 2020

“…This is the solstice…
the year’s threshold…where the past
lets go of and becomes the future….”
(from “Solstice Poem” by Margaret Atwood)

This coming week we celebrate Winter Solstice and Christmas Eve. Weather permitting we will hold hybrid services: in-person on the back lawn of UUCS, practicing all of our public health safety protocols (distancing, masking, outside) and also livestreamed (https://www.youtube.com/user/uucs).

  • Winter Solstice Service:
    • Monday, December 21
    • 5:45pm Community Drumming
    • 6:30pm Service
    • Please bring a chair, and drums and singing bowls if you have them
    • See below for more details.
  • Christmas Eve Service: Thursday, December 24
    • 6:30pm Candlelight Service
    • Our Christmas Eve Offering will support the Minister’s Discretionary Fund
    • Please bring a chair
    • See below for more details.

Let us move together through this darkness, sharing light—

Scott
